Join the Marion County Children's Alliance Family Violence Prevention Workgroup at this Downtown Ocala 5K. Both runners and walkers are invited to attend the event.

Proceeds provide resources, services and basic necessities to victims and survivors of domestic violence.
Race Details:
-- Wear Your Wings 5K Run/Walk, Saturday, October 28, 2017, at JERVEY GANTT PARK, 2200 SE 36th Ave, Ocala FL 34470
-- Race Day: Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. 5K Run starts at 8 a.m.
-- Awards Ceremony: Immediately following conclusion of the race.
Course:
-- The 5K (3.1 mile) Run/Walk starts and finishes at Jervey Gantt Park

-- All Runners who want to be timed must register online to get Bib#
-- Walkers can donate their shoe size to participate or make a minimum donation of $10 to receive FREE T-shirt if registered by October 13. Walkers can register online at https://wearyourwings.eventbrite.com.
-- Registration: $25 until OCT 27, 2017 at noon. (Includes guaranteed T-shirt to the first 150 pre-registered entrants).

-- Race Day Registration: $30 (Late and Race Day entrants are not guaranteed a T-shirt).

-- Group Discount: Groups of 10 or more can qualify for a group discount of $20, but you MUST contact Monica Bryant for discount code and instructions at (352) 438-5993. *Discount does not apply to walkers.
Packet and T-shirt Pick up:
Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Ocala Police Department, 402 S. Pine Ave., Ocala, FL 34471.
Race Packets and T-Shirts can also be picked up on Race Day beginning at 6:30 a.m. Please arrive early to avoid lines.

-- Overall Male and Female
-- Top 3 finishers in each Male and Female age group:
Age Groups: 14 and under; 15 - 19; 20 - 24; 25-29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39; 40 - 44; 45 - 49; 50 - 54; 55 - 59; 60 - 64; 65 - 69; and 70 and over.
-- Finisher Medal available to the first 150 pre-registered entrants who Do Not place.
Post Race Celebration:
-- Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Timing:
-- The race will be timed and scored by Jaguar Timing Systems electronic bib tag. Your entry fee covers the cost of the disposable chip which does not need to be returned. Bib MUST be worn on the front chest to be scored electronically. Please DO NOT fold the microprocessor.
Results:
-- Results will be posted near the finish line within minutes of the conclusion of the race and on the internet at www.milestoneraceauthority.com. Please include your cell phone carrier to receive an Instant SMS text message of your race time.
